The Church of Wisdom Complex
One of the most unique and distinguishing things about the Delphi University campus is the beautiful and remarkable Church of Wisdom complex. Based on the principles of Sacred Geometry, the Temples provide a sanctuary of spiritual wisdom and universal truth, which is embodied in their sacred geometric shapes, sacred art forms, symbols of age-old knowledge, as well as numerous large and sacred crystal treasures from all parts of the earth. The complex currently consists of the Temple of Wisdom, the Temple of Light, and the Temple of Healing. Future construction plans and intentions also include the Temple of the People and the Cosmic Observatory Deck which captures the panoramic views of the stars and the earth from the mountain top upon which the complex is built.
The Journey
The Church of Wisdom Inc. was chartered in 1974 in Miami, Florida, by Jordon Thompson who, before his death, was a practicing lawyer and a trance medium, a rare and unique combination. Mr. Thompson gave the church to Delphi founder Patricia Hayes with this simple instruction: “You’re going to need this for your work in the future." It wasn’t long before the purpose of the church became clear: to create a ministry of healers and teachers who would carry their light, love, and healing energies out into the world, just as the Christ directed his disciples to do over two thousand years ago. Through their teaching and healing ministry, people would be awakened spiritually and would discover the Light of the Divine that shines within themselves and the truth of who and what they really are. The church ordained its first group of ministers in l974. Since that time, our healing ministry has spread to over 20 countries.
The Church of Wisdom Inc. is a 501c (3) non-denominational, non-profit, universal, and spiritual church. We embrace all of God’s truths, and the many ways He has revealed and expressed Himself throughout time. The Church was formed with the purpose of assisting and supporting therapists and healing practitioners in their healing ministry and, with the formation of the International Registry of Spiritual Healers, to provide a certifying body of both spiritual and conventional healing professionals to evaluate, certify, and sanction spiritual, metaphysical, and transpersonal healing and training programs. The Church of Wisdom is the certifying body of Delphi University. The Church also accepts the teaching and training programs from Delphi University, the Patricia Hayes School, the RoHun™ Institute, and the Entura Spiritual Art Institute as its seminary studies for ordination as a minister in the Church of Wisdom.
The Inspiration
In December of 1999, the Church’s spiritual founders communicated from the spiritual world that it was time to build a spiritual complex, a vast window or vortex, a gateway connecting the spiritual and the physical worlds. This spiritual complex would house a temple of worship, a private healing space, and a temple of healing, and would serve as a conductor of higher energies and thought channeled to and spread throughout our world. Our spiritual friends were very specific in the order and design of the project, utilizing sacred geometry in every aspect of the construction. Kimberly and Charles Curcio received the elaborate instructions through channeling sessions and meditations over a period of time. They were so inspired that they totally funded the construction of the first two temples themselves.
The Plan
Spirit communicated to us that there were to be as many as four buildings in the complex, to be built in each of the four directions. Each of the buildings would surround a courtyard and a fountain which was to be in the shape of a circle, with an equal length cross in the center, with each end of the cross pointing in one of the four directions. This cross within the circle is the symbol of the Great White Lodge, also known as the Brotherhood of Light, the organization of Masters, Archangels, angelic beings, and those human beings on earth, who work under the auspices and direction of the Christ for the evolution of mankind and of the planet.
The Temple of Wisdom
The main building in the complex is the Temple of Wisdom. The Temple of Wisdom faces and is aligned to the east. Each day at Sunrise, God’s Light shines through the stained glass window bearing His name, YHWH, and into the temple. There were also to be three other primary buildings, a total of four, to complete the Church of Wisdom complex. The four buildings are the Temple of Wisdom, Temple of Light, Temple of Healing, and the Temple of the People. Three of the buildings are now complete.
Design and Construction
The first building erected was the main temple, The Temple of Wisdom. Built upon the principles of Sacred Geometry, the construction of the temple incorporates the five sacred geometric shapes which represent the five spiritual elements into the buildings’ design. The front of the Church resembles an ancient Greek Temple. The two columns supporting the roof represent the Twin Pillars of Joachim and Boaz from the Temple of Solomon, the pillars representing the masculine and feminine energies: Joachim on the right and Boaz on the left as one is facing out from the temple. The central chamber of the church is constructed in a Decagon or ten-sided circular shape, the completion number of 10 in Kabbalistic teachings, and is topped with a circular dome. The apex of the dome is also ten sided and constructed of multi-colored hues of glass. Directly below the apex is the Crystal Garden, a collection of museum sized specimen crystals from all over the world, topped with a clear cover on which one can stand and experience the energies of the crystals.
There are three additional rooms which connect to the main temple. All of these buildings have a unique shape and form which is outlined in sheets of copper, because of its ability to conduct energy. The first of these ancillary buildings is located on the right side as you enter, and is a Dodecahedron, a room created from the joining together of 12 pentagons, which corresponds to the element of Ether and spiritual energy. This structure is dedicated as a meditation room.
On the left you will find the Icosahedron, which is constructed of 20 equilateral triangles joined together, and which corresponds to the element of Water, the element of the emotions and the Emotional Body. This room, also outlined in copper, is the Consultation Room, and is used for readings and counseling, meditation, and sound harmonics. It also houses Metatron’s Pyramid, a full size Metaform with a base of six tetrahedrons. To create the element of Fire, represented by the Tetrahedron or three-sided pyramid (not including the base), Metatron’s Pyramid was used. Metatron’s Pyramid is constructed of gold-plated copper tubing that has a base of 6 interlocking tetrahedrons that form a Star of David at the bottom, with a suspended Star Tetrahedron at the top, and six hanging quartz crystals corresponding to the Great Archangels.
At the back of the Church, behind the altar, is the Inner Sanctum or Initiation Room. The room itself is in the form of a Cube, the element of the Earth and of the physical body. Atop the cube is a Giza-style four-sided pyramid cut to the same angles as the Great Pyramid, 51° 51′ 51". This pyramid is representative of and is in the form of an Octahedron, the 8-sided figure corresponding to the element of Air and the Mind or Mental Body. The cube and the pyramid are outlined in copper, and the bottom half of the Octahedron was constructed energetically. Also housed within this room is the most Sacred Cube of Metatron.
Inside The Temple
Before entering the Temple, one can’t help but feel awed and inspired by the natural beauty that surrounds us. From the tall trees to the beautiful flowers, to the panorama of the Blue Ridge Mountains that surround this spiritual outpost, one can feel the energy, the reverence, and the love that permeates this place, a place where God’s love is felt. Passing through the Twin Pillars, one enters the Church through the huge wooden doors engraved with two eagles, a reminder of how high we can soar as spiritual beings. Above the second set of doors, the name of God in Hebrew appears in stained glass, YHWH. God’s holy name shines into and precedes each visitor who enters, supporting the high spiritual energies here.
Moving into the Church, one is struck with the beauty, simplicity, and uniqueness of this wonderful sanctuary. The dome and the ten LAN beams that support it are breathtaking. The Church has a ring of twenty windows surrounding it, each a different color, and flowing together like the colors of the spectrum. As the sun moves across the sky, a dazzling and ever-changing array of colored light is manifested within the temple. And inside the temple you will find numerous symbols, artifacts and treasures, evidencing God’s presence on earth. All Spiritual Truths are in evidence and embraced within the Temple of Wisdom including Hebrew, Christian, Buddhist, Egyptian, Indian, and Muslim.
Looking around this sacred place, one cannot help but be inspired. From the portrait of Elijah ascending to heaven in his chariot as Melchizedek looks on, to the Ancient Egyptian zodiac wheel and hieroglyphic alphabet woven in Egypt by young children; from the oriental carpets from Turkey that decorate this place, to the statues of Quan Yin and Buddha that are present. Two of the stained glass windows depict the Tree of Life and the Cube of Metatron, and the icons from the Greek monasteries of old are of biblical figures, including the oldest known picture of the Christ. The Temple of Wisdom is a place of beauty, love, harmony, and healing, where God’s Uniqueness and Oneness is in evidence and can be experienced. Perhaps the most inspirational offering of the temple is the 7 foot tall original oil portrait of the Ascended Christ. Many people have said that when they hold their hands up to the extended hands of the Christ portrait, they can ‘feel’ His energy. Next to the portrait stands a giant Elestial Crystal which, by meditating with it, can help one to understand things that need to be healed, and to discover the truth of who they are.
Moving out of the Church, we are met by our giant Earthkeeper Crystal, a gift from God that anchors the higher energies of Light into this sacred place. Below is a picture of the Earthkeeper on the Opening Day of the Temple, which clearly shows the Spiritual Keeper of this crystal climbing the steps and taking their place in the heart of the crystal, just after our activation ceremony.
Temple of Light
On the north side of the complex is the Temple of Light. Resembling a step pyramid or ziggurat, the Temple of Light is modeled from the interior of the pyramid at Dashur, Egypt. The interior roof design is modeled after a Mayan pyramid. There are three chambers in this temple, and its floor plan is much the same as the Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem. The first room or chamber in this temple is a waiting or staging room. The central room houses healing tables and the Vogel Photonic Crystal and Light Machine. And the third or interior room is the Inner Holy of Holies. The Temple of Light is utilized for individual healing sessions performed by Church of Wisdom President Charles Curcio. The building also houses a Vogel Light Machine, also used for healing.
Mauricio Panisset Temple of Healing
Dedicated to the memory of Mauricio Panisset, the extraordinary Brazilian healer known as the Man of Light, the Temple of Healing is a sacred place open to the public where people receive individual energy healing sessions free of charge. Committed to our purpose of helping others and sharing God’s gifts of love, light, and healing, each month we hold the Healing Sanctuary, where people from all over the world come to receive the beautiful spiritual gifts channeled by our gifted and devoted Delphi healers for their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs. Individual healing sessions are given to all who come. Completed in early 2018, the Temple of Healing replaces the former Healing Sanctuary on the Delphi campus. Please wear white clothing. Love offerings accepted.
Ceremonies dedicating the opening of the Temple of Wisdom and the Temple of Light were held in February of 2003 and for the Temple of Healing in February 2018. At that time our spiritual friends communicated to us that now is the time to celebrate, dedicate and increase the energy of this wonderful spiritual gateway.
Future Plans
Temple of the People
The construction of this temple is planned for a later date. This is a large social building, a four-sided pyramid, which will be used for gatherings, workshops, special occasions and events, and fun.
Observatory Deck
The final offering of the complex will be the Observatory Deck, dedicated to viewing the celestial bodies and the magnificent views of the night sky from the temple mound. Everyone is Welcome.
